Derek Faust (b. 1983) is an interdisciplinary visual artist based in Atlanta, GA. He received MFA in Sculpture at Georgia State University and earned his BFA from the Oregon College of Art and Craft. Faust has been a working artist and craftsperson for over 10 years. He has exhibited work at the Low Museum, Mint Gallery, Aqua Art Miami, ATHICA, Museum of Contemporary Art (GA), Solcumb Gallery (TN) and Herberger Institute for Design and Arts (AZ). In 2016, he was awarded a fellowship at Hambidge Art Center and shortlisted for the Working Art Project by the Contemporary Museum of Art of Georgia.
Faust is Executive Director and Co-Curator of Doppler Projects an Atlanta-based curatorial collective. Previously he directed and curated Doppler PDX Gallery in Portland, Oregon.
